How do I create a course?

- Login to your admin account (if you are unsure which email address this is connected to, you can reach out to us for confirmation via email at support@lifeonlife.org).
- Click on the gear icon in the top right-hand menu for Admin/Dashboard.
- Click on COURSES from the left side of the page.
- Click on the CREATE NEW COURSE button.
- Enter a COURSE TITLE and choose your base course (blue, green, or red).
- Scroll down to customize your content. Drag and drop the boxes between AVAILABLE MODULES and YOUR MODULES until the content under YOUR MODULES reflects what you want. You can use the filters on the left to filter by topic, author, or module length when searching for material.
- You need your modules to total 26-30 weeks (unless you have made other Mission sequences to encompass longer or shorter courses). Just under YOUR MODULES you will see a running total.
- A few things to notice with the modules boxes:
- The blue, green, and red dots on some of the boxes represent which modules are from the original base Journey years and which color year they were in.
- The "i" allows you to see an overview of the module - description, author, and unit titles.
- The lock icon allows you to "lock" certain modules that you want everyone at your church to go through. If you do not close the lock your leaders will be able to switch them out for another module.
- Once you are satisfied with your content, click the ADD COURSE button. This will now be one of the base courses for your church.
- Please note that each leader will still need to build the course for each of their groups individually. This course is not added to a group.
